Hoping our experts ( like Lisa Marasco) can answer this.
Anyone else seen hear of a correlation between PCOS and Hyperemesis?
mom is still breastfeeding 11 month old. History of PCOS with previous
infertility issues until assisted. Thankfully no problem with milk supply
after successful delivery and still nursing 4-6 time a day.
Apparently successful pregnancy kicked the hormones just right because
despite IUD, now pregnant again ( 2 months)
Both pregnancies has had problems with extreme nausea/ vomiting but this
preg. has been diagnosed with hyperemesis. Drs. say no relationship with
PCOS and I couldn't find any medical articles addressing this BUT did see
thousands of chat room posts by women with PCOS and hyperemesis.
Have anyone else seen a large amount of PCOS women with hyperemesis? Anyone
know of any medical articles addressing this?
Mom currently being told ( like usual) to stop nursing current child. She
doesn't want to but is spilling such large amounts of keytones due to weight
loss ( not dehydration) that mom and pregnancy safety may be at risk soon.
Any ideas?
