I did this diet (I was not nursing) along with a nursing friend (her
baby was about 18 mos old at the time). This is anecdotal, but in her
case, she found the hcg did not suppress her appetite, which is the
point of taking the hcg. Because her baby was older, she was willing
to risk the potential dip in supply, but if the baby were younger,
that would be a greater risk to take.
In general, I would discourage it, but if the baby were older would
see it as more of a challenge issue than risk issue.
Just my unsubstantiated thoughts... ;)
