Angela, thanks so much for your input! Now I remember what n-j feeds are
for, I used to be a peds nurse but it's been 15 years. I had spoken to mom
about non-nutritive time at the breast which she sounded interested in but it
takes her a while to let-down at the pump and then to get her milk out
(about 45 minutes). We talked about the future and she still has lots of time
potentially to have baby at the breast and I encouraged her as much as
possible to hang in there and what a gift she's giving her baby. We'll have to
see what the future studies show and go from there. Thanks again.
