My 15 yo dd never had her tt addressed. In contrast to your experience, she
has no orthodontic problems at all, but still has trouble articulating
the letter L, especially when it is in combination with another consonant
(e.g., "play" and "pray" sound the same). She had many other articulation
difficulties which she outgrew, She has not been diagnosed with learning
difficulties (as we are not in the school system), but she was a late reader, and
wrote in mirror image fashion for quite some time.

Anyone else seeing these types of outcome in older tongue-tied kids?
(orthodontia is a given--I am seeking information on learning differences
necessitating intervention. )
