Hi Marianne,
I like it, being a louse in the fur! I think that any of your suggested
modes may be useful- it's what suits each individual.
I'm a fairly aggressive and argumentative crone- a bit like the one here

There are certainly other ways of doing things. And Marianne, you are not a
failure- all that is required of any of us is to do what we can- the
outcome, while not unimportant, is not a reflection of our success in
retaining integrity.
