Rachel reminds us of a ery sad truth: there are lemons in every
profession. Some folks sell stuff in an unethical manner, or do so
without examining whether there is a conflict of interest which needs to be
cured. I agree. My post was meant to explain that a conflict of interest
isn't *always* a bad thing. Many IBCLC-practitioners are able to practice
their profession, complete with a commercial component, and do so in an
ethical manner that has addressed and resolved any conflicts of interst
issue. Your example of Barbara Wilson-Clay is an excellent one.
