The hospitals need to be shown how to put this on the books as food for the baby. The hospital would need to provide some food for the baby if the mother were not there breastfeeding. She is saving them trouble and bucks. We don't even need to get into what she is doing by simply being there (see previous post on 'What Mothers Do' book).
I am not a bookkeeper, but it seems to me the money changing hands here is going in the wrong direction.
