I did not mean to start such an attack. I am a hospital based lactation consultant fighting the same battles as all other hopsital lactation consultants face. I want my clients to have a beautiful breastfeeding experience and I do all that I can to assist in any way I can.
I am a mother who had to work, had to pump and had to have my milk fed to my children in a bottle while I was at work. I may not have been able to put my babies to breast for every feeding every day but my babies never had formula. I guess the correct term would be exclusively breastmilk fed not breastfed.
I understand that it is International Code of the MARKETING of Breast-milk Substitutes. I get it that you are all offended by what I said and I apologize for that.
