A mom with one month old twins has contacted me with some questions. I could
answer all of them but one. She says that when her milk leaks, it is pink.
She says that it stains her clothing pink. Neon pink.
She breastfeeds and uses a Medela Pump sometimes, and has no nipple pain or
soreness. She says she has not had anything red to drink like a fruit punch
or anything. Her diet sounds fine. She is on no medications.
She says if her babies spit up, it is not pink. It is white.
Is this just one of those times that we say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"

Anybody else seen neon pink milk?
Thanks!
Ann Calandro, MSN, RNC, IBCLC
