Years ago I started out seeing each mom, making follow-up phone calls,  then
we evolved as staff became more knowlegeable.  I taught a daily BF class to
moms who wanted to come and consulted with moms that nurses were stumped
over.  Back then, 86-91, we didn't have a weekly come back and see us
meeting (with a scale :-) or let moms come back for a one on one.  I can see
that both of these are important.  I did some home vss as a LLLL.  It was a
beginning and looking back, seeing how we evolved, leads to some useful
