Last night on the news when they talked about a "baby boom" at a hospital somewhere here in the States... and they showed a picture of dozens of babies lined up in a nursery in the little plastic bassinettes - all wrapped up tight with little pacifiers and not a mother in sight. That was a growl at the TV moment.
It's pretty much a running joke at our house about toys - when my daughter gets a doll the bottles all disappear into the trash - even the paper doll set she got for Christmas had a bottle to go with the paper doll baby - somehow that was "missing" almost immediately. (I don't buy them at all if there is a bottle, so they come from grandparents - who used to get upset that I was throwing part of their present in the trash, and now are finally used to it).
