Pills/supplements are not the only source for probiotics. There are many
food sources for probiotics, primarily cultured and naturally fermented
foods. Traditional diets were rich in these food but modern diets are often
sorely lacking. I agree that breastmilk is the perfect probiotic. There are
times though when additional supplementation can be helpful in healing the
mother/baby.
