I'm interested to gather opinions:
I saw a baby on day two. Seems to have posterior tongue-tie, but that is
not what I am asking about, though I suspect it's related.
There is a very distinguishable line down the middle of the tongue, which
I'm attributing to TT. When I saw this baby, his tongue's left side, from the
line to the edge and all the way front to back was a yellowish-creme color,
while the right side was normal pink. By the time the next HCP saw the baby,
the whole tongue was pink again.
Have any of you seen such a thing...or do you have a guess as to what would
change color on half of tongue? BTW, it did NOT look blanched....just
strange. Baby was just up from a nap. Palate is a little flat, but otherwise ok.
Thanks for your input!
