A dear friend of mine called me from Hong Kong about 30 minutes ago. It is impossible for me to help her adequately from Kansas, USA <g>, so she has given me permission to post a request for lactation help a bit closer to Hong Kong. Baby was "taken" by c-section early for questionable IUGR, she has very sore nipples, is edematous, is primarily "supplementing" with expressed milk while feeding formula, etc., if that helps. She works for a large formula manufacturer and wants desperately to exclusively breastfeed.
Please e-mail me off-list at [log in to unmask] if you can recommend anyone for Amy.
Sincerely,
Rebecca DeYoung-Daniels, MBA, RD, LD, IBCLC in KS, USA
