My eyes were drawn to the hands: I would really dissuade any mother from
putting so much pressure on the head(s).
Missed opportunity: even if, like Gonneke says, the artist had a different
intention, he should have been aware of the importance of doing a number of
things right.
Artists usually feel that they are there to influence society and express
important life aspects.
If that goes for this artist, then he would have done
breastfeeding/babies/mothers/societe a great service by paying a little more
attention here and there.
The statue would not have needed THAT big a change to make a better, much
more positive impression.
Like Gonneke, I do like many of the lines and the fact that it's twins.
