Hi all,
I would say, that it would be a waste of time and energy to start testing
and checking all the bottles of the world!!! We all know there is NO bottle
or nipple, even closely similar to the breast, not in look, touch, feel,
flow, nor efficiency!!! It is NOT the bottle in my opinion that will enable
an infant to relax and eat comfortably BUT HOW the baby is fed. If
carepersons, or parents, want to be done with their babes in 5 minutes, they
will allow them to guzzle down that EBM or ABM as quick as possible. It is
up to us to teach the differences in feeding techniques and make our clients
understand the importance of smaller quantities, at a slower pace instead of
trying to help out those manufacturers by recommending their products. One
thing we learn with time is that one bottle does not fit all, just as one
pump does not fit all, nor does one solution fit all when having bfg
problems.
