Dear Friends:
The door will close on this FREE course on June 30th.
There are 6 modules; the narrator for all the slides has a pleasant voice.
The slides can be printed. There are tons of references. The course is a
collaboration between the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the
Cochrane Collective. You can fast forward or go back as you need.
I've sent the link to my 19-year old daughter; the complex material is
presented clearly and simply. I've learned how to better use PubMed,
www.clinicaltrials.gov, and GoogleScholar. I finally get the difference
between absolute and relative risk. The examples that have been chosen to
illustrate the principles of research are familiar, the VIoxx debacle, the
controversy about hormone replacement therapy for menopause and more.
This course is a bargain. Here is the link. Check it out, you'll be glad you
did!!
