The new Medela Hydrogel pads are compatible to be used simultaneously with
Medela Lanolin. I have seen literature on this, I am unaware of any other
types/ brands that are compatible.

Subject: Soothies and lanolin?
Hello Wise Ones,
I was wondering about something the other day when leading our support
group. I have been "taught" that Soothies are not to be used with lanolin
but
that Medela Brand Hydrogels are compatible with lanolin. I have never seen
any literature on this, just repeating what I have been taught.
I have searched the archives and have not found anything to support this and
the Soothie website says they are compatible with Lansinoh brand lanolin. I
am not sure if this would have said this before the two companies became
one. Also, the Soothies package does not say anything either way.
Does anyone have literature or personal experience to support this? Thanks
so much in advance.
