Marie,
WOW! That was an awesome post.  Please consider writing this up for
publication in JHL so all can learn from your experience!  You've certainly
given me some food for thought and I wish others with so much practical
experience would share similar knowledge.  I think that we as LCs tend to
base alot of our recommendations to moms on what others are recommending and
not really thinking about the physiological basis for that recommendation
and whether it is really valid or not.  So are the majority of us really any
better than any of the HCPS that we criticize?  Thank you, thank you, thank
you.  I hope the small number who attended your ILCA session got it and
shared it with others too.
