When I work as an LC in the hospital, I wear scrubs, and wear a yellow
infection control gown if I am going into a room where the baby has not yet
been bathed. I am not mistaken for the floor nurse, which I am on other
days, because the staff knows what I am there for that day....so it's fairly
easy. I think wearing dress casual with a lab coat would be ok too....but I
guess I didn't want my good wool pants needing to be dry cleaned so
often..etc.
