Rachael Hamlet asked about China's new law banning formula. I downloaded this
from CompuServ on 7/4/95 from The Associated Press:

"BEIJING - In an attempt to encourage breastfeeding, China is banning all
advertisements for infant formula.
The new law, effective Oct. 1, also prohibits companies that produce formula
from promotional giveaways of equipment, money or information to health care
facilities, the Xinhua News Agency reported today.
The companies also will not be allowed to give free or discounted formula to
new mothers.
