When I was in private practice, I was seeing mostly moms with bf problems,
and therefore it was essential to observe a feeding.
This is not always easy to schedule on "baby time" as it is not always
possible to predict when baby will eat.
If one is running a followup clinic, as I am doing now, then not all visits
are for problems, but general checking in and reassurance.
So those followup visits don't *always* involve observation of a feed.
