In answer to Debbie's question, my favorite reference book that covers
tongue tie well is Supporting Sucking Skills in Breastfeeding Infants by
Catherine Watson Genna. (I have no financial interest in this book.)
There are several chapters on tongue tie, with the first chapter
describing the characteristics of a normal suck as a basis for
comparison. It's a great resource! You can find it here:

>Can anyone suggest a good reference book on tongue tie? I know I've read about some previously on Lactnet but I can't seem to find it in the archives.
