I was in charge of watching my younger siblings as they lay in the sun
in their carriages (pram) in the front yard getting their daily sun baths.

We spent most of each day outdoors as children. Then came the kidnapping
scares of the 1980's, and my generation only let our kids out under
close supervision.

One of my brothers is a dermatologist, and he sees a lot of melanoma in
fellow Baby Boomers. He's a big proponent of sun block.
