When I first saw the ad, I thought: perfect! Breastmilk has been
commodified so well, why not sell it in nondescript, impersonal quart
cartons in generic supermarkets? And to me, the futuristic-looking
newspaper ad and the billboard reinforced the concept to get on the
bandwagon -- breastmilk is becoming more and more of a commodity. Sad
indeed.
