Dear all:
In light of the slew of the poor science education that permits people to lay out flawed
claims that breastfeeding is not beneficial --- I am putting this link to an old classic that I
found via Wikipedia. If you read this treatise which is on smoking, you will see how limited
the current spate of so-called "evidence of no effect" is. Whatever happened to science
education? Journalists who write about science should have at least a basic education in
science and its methods.
The article below is from the 1960s and it beautifully outlines how to build a case for
causality.
