I need help, and I need to vent. A very nice woman on the 'Social Justice'
commitee at church is co-ordinating a food and clothing drive to send items
Haiti.
Among the items that she requested donations for are the following: powdered
milk, non-fat powdered milk, Similac with Iron.
I am planning on calling her in the morning. I would like to know if anyone has
the WHO standards for what to donate in an emergency handy. Or anything
else. I will be going on-line to get information tonight, but I am somewhat
pressed for time with other commitments. I would rather not be up until 2 in
the morning putting something together for her. She really is a lovely woman,
and has devoted a large part of her life to helping others. I just want her to
be ACTUALLY HELPING!!!
TIA,
Jamelle Lyons, IBCLC
