Hello all!
I have a young mother who was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis several years ago.? Her 35 weeker is not being fed just yet.? He is in NICU.? His suck isn't the best and they are watching him very closely.? Mom was symptom free for 2 years prior to her pregnancy which at that time she had to start mestonin again.? She also has pernicious anema, ITP.? Mom has started on pumping, Dad is of great help.? A really sweet young couple.?
Any words of wisdom you want to throw my direction would be appreciated.? So far we haven't be allowed to start feeding the baby.?
I know baby has a small chance of presenting with MG and mom has a risk factor for going into crisis but also a great chance she could go back into remission.
Thanks for any input!
