I've used a nipple shield for a few days to help.

Subject: over active let down

I have a mom with over active milk ejection. Baby is beginning to refuse the breast at times because of the fast flow. I had a similar case awhile ago and I can't find my notes with suggestions. Someone mentioned that the mom can take a supplement that can be of some help. It wasn't anything like sage or peppermint. It was more of a mineral of some sort. Anyone have any suggestions to help decrease milk flow other than the normal laying down on back, cigarette hold, etc.
thanks again. I love all your support and suggestions.
