We print off copies of the WHO growth chart and distribute them to attendees of our LLL Prenatal Breastfeeding Class. We encourage the parents to give them to their peds at their first visit and have their child's weight measured on that chart instead. The feedback that we hear from parents is that nurses don't like the charts because they are unable to convert from US pound measurements to universal metric measurements. Very few 'average' type folks are able to convert comfortably back and forth between the two. If someone would/could take the time to make a lovely WHO chart available in US pounds, then I could see it being more widely used in my area. The peds don't seem to care one way or another, but the nurses seem to.
