Inulin is a fructo-oligosaccharide. It is sometimes referred to in the
marketing of infant formulas as a pre-biotic. I am not aware of any evidence
supporting its use for the treatment of fungal infections. A recent
Cochrane review has determined that the evidence around inclusion in infant
formula is inconclusive.

Subject: Inulin

Has anyone out there heard of or used a product called 'Inulin fiber' to
treat yeast? It is a food additive that is taken by mouth once a day. It is
stirred into food like yoghurt or oatmeal. I have heard that it works very
well for vaginal yeast but I have never heard of its use for nipple yeast.
