Martina,
Yes, a J cup is a US bra cup size (a rather a large size). I have been up to
a K cup so I have practically been through half the alphabet during my
nursing years although my band size is not large so this makes finding bras
a challenge. One of the best things I ever did for myself was finally figure
out my actual bra size. I can't tell you how many moms are wearing horribly
ill-fitted bras! If you need fitting tips for large breasts, just ask me. I
also find the web site www.birthandbaby.com <http://www.birthandbaby.com/>
to be very helpful with sizing and for large nursing bras.
Anyway, I had some time ago some moms with really a veeeery laaarge a/o
flabby/pending breasts, 1st babies, unexperienced, very uncomfortable
handling these breasts.. so I'd like to try something and see if moms
tell me there's a benefit.
I agree. If a mom feels that a particular tool or gadget helps her
breastfeeding experience then like Linda says, "the mom is always right."
Sometimes just a little trick or tool is all it takes to make a mom more
comfortable.
