About milk going away with stress, thank you for your perspective on how you needed rest and adequate diet....
I got a call a few weeks ago from a mother of a 3 - 4 month old whose 25 yo father had just been violently killed. Mother was asking if her milk would go away with this stress. I told her that removal of the milk is the biggest factor in making more, gave symphathy for her loss, and said that it could be a source of comfort for her and her baby to stay close and breastfeed.
Women have real challenges in their lives.
