Hi Rachel
Not sure if it is relevant but standard PP treatment for perineal injury
when I had mine in hospitals here was the sitz. This is a small bath (bit
like a large bed pan on legs). I was advised to alternated warm salty water
and cold water sitz baths. (Overrated really) When I went home (day six or
seven usually due to a nasty spike in BP on day five) I was advised that I
could continue warm salty baths in my tub at home.
Cheers
Nina Berry
