Does anyone have a good reference on use of fenugreek (either tea or
capsules) that an allopathic medical type doc might look at without sneering?
Recently I've had two moms with low milk supply to whom I have suggested
fenugreek. Both went immediately to their peds to question it - both of whom
said since THEY had never heard of it (you have to read this in the right
tone of voice), obviously it isn't something that THEY would allow THEIR
wives to consume while bf.... And, since it isn't listed in the PDR, of
course they couldn't find it, therefore nixed it. Paul, I remember you had
an article on herbs in Mothering Magazine a zillion months ago, but I have
moved & cleaned (I only clean when I move), and don't remember when or where.
Is there any other reference anyone knows about off the top?

Jan (thoroughly annoyed with certain MDs.)
