Medline has a short article about a study published in the September issue
of Pediatrics, showing that breastfeeding is more effective than sugar water
for pain relief during heel prick blood tests in newborns.

Right next to this article is one about Anne Merewood's study
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/news/fullstory_68834.html, mentioned by
Marsha Walker last week on Lactnet. Great that this stuff is getting
mainstream coverage.
