My manager and I developed guidelines of what an LC is expected to do.  
Where to obtain supplies, pumping protocols, chain of command, basic return 
demo on position and latch., troubleshooting, communication with docs, and 
staff RN's.  I will try to find it and send you it off list.  No need to re-invent 
the wheel.
Hopefully, others out there have something similar they can send you as well.
