Heather, locally there are models at both the University of Utah (several, joint project with U. Hospital) and Utah State (5 rooms), with others in the works. You can get information and support through the Utah Breastfeeding Coalition. If you aren't familiar with the Business Case for Breastfeeding you'll find information in the link below in addition to contacts to help you set up new lactation rooms in a university workplace.

Please email me privately if you need specific contact information for the individuals connected with these programs, I'd be glad to help.
Good luck! I'd love to learn more about your project.

Subject: pumping station at university
I have been asked to help get a pumping station or room for mothers at one
of our local universities. Have any of you been involved in, or even seen a
pumping room at a University? If you have ANY input I would greatly
appreciate it.
Here is the email I received:
We are meeting ____________ with several faculty members across campus. The
purpose of this meeting is to get faculty feedback as to how to approach
_______ administration with the idea of a pumping station. Do you have any
insights on the subject? We would like to schedule another meeting with the
_________ Department of Health - it is a 2 hour training regarding
breastfeeding education.
I am happy to have made this contact with you. I would love to have you
participate in our efforts on campus and would appreciate any insights or
ideas you have. Thank you again for contacting me. I look forward to meeting
you in the near future.
