I agree, Pat.
Imagine the courage needed to stand up for yourself when it seems that
everyone else is saying you are wrong.
How many of us have looked down at our sweetly nursing babies and marveled
that it was the milk from our own bodies that was responsible for their
growth?
We may be teaching breastfeeding, but the end  product is empowered women.

norma, who heard last night from a mother whose doc told her that birthing a
baby without anesthesia was barbaric.
