I haven't eaten at a Denny's in 10 years (1999), ever since they refused to serve my children and myself. Why did they refuse? Well, it was either because my children are black, or because I was breastfeeding, or because I changed my daughter's diaper quickly on the booth seat (using a changing pad, etc.) after I had gone into the restroom, where there was no changing table, and no surface large enough to change a baby's diaper. They have a long history of not serving African Americans, seating them in the very back (where I was seated, perhaps to keep me from leaving without paying the bill), and other issues similar to this. They have lost a few lawsuits in this area, to the tune of millions, so I have to say the breastfeeding story doesn't surprise me. I'll write them, but to be honest, I have simply made the choice to not give my money to the company.
