Dear Friends:

Why do we even consider the Ross numbers? Their numbers are marketing
data,not epidemiological statistics.

As for the CDC, as someone mentioned in an earlier post on the subject, the
selection of the sample is governed by rules that the CDC has followed.

The CDC is also to be commended for the mPINC report, which makes the
connection between birth and breastfeeding for the first time in any
governmental survey that I know about. Compared the mPINC map with the CDC
map of the US bf rates.........
