Ah, Nancy, that's interesting!! So the 'blood in stools' may be
hidden until someone goes hunting for it?
That's also a good explanation.
Babies stools are almost never tested here....occasionally, some
zealous health visitor arranges a stool test on a bf baby to check
for LI (unaware that this is, apparently, a very unreliable test)
but they don't check for blood.
How often are stools tested for blood in the US?
