I will also be at VELB Vienna -- but not sure Friday eve is any good for
meeting as many will be going home then, and I am leaving Saturday, so really
need the time that morning to get to whatever the Austrian equivilent of
Kaufhof is to drool over the knitting department. Or buy strudel. Or any
of the other million things we people who are languishing in exile outside
the Austro-Germanic heartlands do when we get the chance.

Druing the conference I will be found introducing the round table on the WHO
growth chart: I also have a poster so will be standing next to it during the
poster presentation session. [My name doesn't appear on the programme,
though.]

Not sure about the red dots, seems both excluding (I am wearing a dot -- you
are an outsider if you don't know why) and labelling (think yellow star of
David, pink triangle, etc). In art exhibitions in the UK, pieces with a red
dot on the label are already sold. Hmmm.

I am so looking forward to this conference, as I have not attended a
European conference outside the UK/Ireland before. Bis Oktober!
