WOW!! Already Weissingerized!!!

<< Although most mothers stop nursing their children after six months, Mrs
Onions believes her unorthodox approach has had physical and mental
benefits.

'Lots of studies have been done and, in general, babies fed on formula are
more likely to get gastric infections and urinary and respiratory problems,'
she said.

'Some studies even suggest that there is an increased risk of certain
childhood cancers.

'Also, women who don't breastfeed have a higher risk of developing breast
and ovarian cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. When you breastfeed, your body
releases a feel-good hormone which calms the mother and current research is
investigating if it helps with postnatal depression.' >>

At five-and-a-half and almost four years respectively, Josephine Onions and
her brother Zac are happy and healthy children.

But what sets them apart from other children their age is their mother is
still breastfeeding them.

Stella Onions, 45, believes her son and daughter are among the oldest in the
UK still being given their mother's milk.
