Just an addendum to my previous post -- when I floated the idea of
discussing prenatal expression in a class, I wasn't thinking about
generally suggesting saving in syringes and all. But maybe bring up a
more low-tech idea of, minus any risk factors in the pregnancy,
hand-expressing drops each day in the last couple weeks of pregnancy.
It would get people accustomed to handling their breasts and able to do
hand-expression if there were any difficulties with a sleepy baby, etc.
