Oh, this is a topic in the very forefront of my thinking right now!!
I will hopefulyl have some time to elaborate soon, but for now, I just need to say that I believe breastfeeding and attachment parenting really go hand in hand. While I think it is *possible* to breastfeed without being attached, and it is *possible* to be attached without breastfeeding, the two are really synergistic and enhance the other so dramatically.
I also feel that "attachment parenting" is an unfortunate misnomer in that all it really encompasses is what comes naturally when a mother and a baby are together, without the constraints of society on us (what I tend to refer to as "otherhood").
I hope to have time to say more later, in the meantime, I am very excited to read this discussion!
