I would be interested to learn how this problem resolves.

I know that we aren't supposed to post for personal help here but I have a similar
problem which I think is a persistent partially plugged duct/milk blister.

My baby is nearly 9 months old. I have had issues with low supply and am fully
breastfeeding with complementary foods. Weaned from domperidone for the second time
sometime back in May. I have had recurrent plugged ducts mainly in my left breast. Most
I was able to clear with heat and massage. Some developed a milk blister in the process
of clearing which I was able to open after a hot bath using my finger nail. For the past 2
months I have had a white spot on my nipple in the location of the nipple pore that
blocked up most frequently. I can express milk from it. Latch is uncomfortable and I
sometimes have persisting discomfort after a feeding. I have tried heat, massage,
expression, opening the blister and most recently I have tried a compress of olive oil
overnight as well as polysporin without improvement.

Any more thoughts on what might help a persistent milk blister not causing a plugged
duct?

Thanks
