Speaking of which, had a mom worried the other day because her ped said her
baby had only gained a pound in 2 months... child weighs 14 pounds at 4
months of age, exclusively BF. Healthy, not restricting feeds. It seems the
peds are still using the old Ohio formula-fed derived growth charts...
Have you seen peds using the 2006 WHO growth charts derived from exclusively
breastfed children (Kathryn Dewey, 2006)? What's the hold up for getting
these out and utilized in peds/docs offices?
