Dear Friends

Hundreds of emails have gone to Nestle to cancel the "wine and dine" talk they are planning for health professionals on June 12, 2008 in Burnaby, B.C.  Many thanks to those of you who wrote emails - many people have become educated about formula marketing and the WHO Code through this process.

However, Nestle has not cancelled their talk.  Please see attached invitation.

A group of mamas, papas, family, friends, and health professionals will be gathering outside the main entrance of the Hilton Metrotown Hotel on Thursday June 12.

We hope that you and others can support us.

Time:  gather around 5:30 pm
Place: Hilton Metrotown Hotel, 6083 McKay Avenue, Burnaby
(west side of McKay as you head south, brown brick building on the first floor with high rise of glass
Parking: some free parking across the street or paid underground parking.  To reach underground parking, pass Hilton on right, (travelling south), turn right at next corner (Kingsborough) turn right into parking marked Crystal (3/4 block) (building has a grey front)
What to bring: a placard with a message that you can hold up: ie "Say NO to Nestle", or "Breastfeeding is the Only Free Meal" or "Nestle violates WHO Code" or ????
