Being 24% sucrose, the sweetness could easily overwhelm a little person with
sensitive taste-buds.

Sweet is detected on the tip of the tongue. How does this help with
latching? By making the baby stick out her tongue? You can get the same
effect by sticking your own tongue out and having her copy you.

Would the jolt of sucrose be enough to change the baby's blood sugar? Is
this a good idea?

What if "they" find the research proving it is safe, and not from
Respironics, either...

Not much research help, I realize, but why mess with the baby's system?
